Forward Thinking Media

The Work

I produce authentic customer stories—the kind that make people lean in and actually listen. For over a decade, I've worked across network television, enterprise brands, and documentary film, but the best work has always come down to one thing: getting close to people and understanding what makes their story matter.

At Forward Thinking Media, I've produced 140+ video projects for healthcare organizations, consumer brands, and enterprises. But I'm not just producing videos. I'm producing narratives that build trust, shift perception, and move people.

The Approach

The real work happens before the cameras roll. I spend time in pre-production conversations with the people I'm filming—understanding their world, earning their trust, and figuring out what's genuinely worth telling. When someone feels safe enough to be honest on camera, that's when magic happens. Those authentic moments become the foundation of everything.

On set, I direct interviews and ask questions that surface real stories—not rehearsed talking points. I manage the technical side so it disappears. The focus stays on the human connection.

The Background

I cut my teeth in network television, starting in post production and advancing into production, working on unscripted shows for Discovery, HGTV, TLC, and the Travel Channel. That taught me how to manage complex productions under pressure, build scalable systems, and deliver consistently. As a combat veteran (Army, Operation Iraqi Freedom), I learned discipline, adaptability, and how to show up prepared.

But my most meaningful work has been with organizations like Adventist Health, Revant Optics, and Warfighter Made —helping them tell stories that matter to their customers. A patient talking about how they got their life back. A founder sharing why they built something. A veteran organization bringing fulfillment to veterans to prevent suicide. Those stories are more powerful than any marketing message.

I've also produced documentary films, including Green Dreams and The Energy of Water—work that required deep storytelling craft, patience, and a commitment to truth-telling.

Why This Matters

In a world full of noise, authentic stories cut through. They build credibility. They change how people see organizations and what they do. That's the work I'm drawn to—finding those stories and telling them in ways that resonate.

I'm a veteran producer and customer storyteller looking to bring that craft to teams building products that matter.
